Trust is our foundation. Munio only requests the data it absolutely needs for verification. This data is erased from the Munio app immediately after use and never leaves your device or touches our servers.
No. Your phone only shares small, specific parts of your ID with a trusted scanner like Munio when you explicitly authorize it with your Face ID or passcode. It never shares more information than you approve for that specific transaction. Additionally, all data is encrypted during transmission and deleted from Munio after verification.
Never. Munio does not store or share your location or transaction history with anyone. Not the government, not Apple or Google, and not us.
Each state embeds a unique, cryptographically secure digital signature into its digital IDs. Munio verifies this signature to confirm the ID is real and was issued by the state. This entire process happens offline.
